La Cocina Saludable (The Healthy Kitchen) is a bilingual nutrition education program targeting parents of pre-school children. The program was developed based on extensive research. The materials were tested and evaluated throughout Colorado using Hispanic grandmothers (abuelas) as nutrition educators.
